we found 3 little gray mice out in the parking lot this afternoon just minding their business hopping around getting water from a puddle and foraging around the entry stairs. I guess they were 3-4 weeks old. they could see and were playing together, but their tails were only 1/4" long. i mean... the whole mouse was smaller than a quarter. It started raining again about 5pm and when i went back outside the shop i found 2 of them huddled in the corner where the stairs meet the brick wall. I felt bad for them, so i tore up a shop rag for insulation and leaned a metal plate against the wall so they could stay dry. i tossed a couple oyster crackers under it too and hope they are ok til morning. i'll take the cam to work so if they are still there i will get 'em to say "cheeese"
