Actually he is more of a man. The sort of still surfs and skateboards to the market and is forty type.

Finally, I like someone. Geez I thought it would take like forever to find myself remotely interested in anyone. Although I am totally NOT ready for anything much more than a intimate friendship it seems that he is on that same path too.

Ironically, we had the talk last night regarding our attraction to one another but opted out for any sort of physical outcome at this time. We both are just not in that spot. Instead we just enjoy one anothers company without having to bump together any of our uglies.

The dance is familiar here as I've had this talk before with a different outcome only to have a lot of disappointment afterward and one less friend later.

But I like him, he likes me. We are closer in age than my last relationship and we have what seems to be a lot more of an adult exchange. He seems to have a bit more life experience and is in touch with it. He knows what he likes; becoming who he is. He calls me everyday and we laugh like monkeys on the phone, we both love heavy metal, the beach, the mountains, hiking, art and are both writers. He also has a child but she is 11 years in age.

Nice to actually like someone again even if it is just a friendly.
