I cheated death today.

Ok, slight exaggeration. But as I was barrelling down the Holloway Road on my bike, running late for my meditation class (ridiculous - leave earlier for godsake! meditation is something you DO NOT want to turn up late, all flustered, for), a van turned in from the inside lane and cut me off. Luckily I saw him coming and braked in time. I hit him, but it was only a soft brush with death.

He was nice too. He stopped and checked if I was Ok, and I was fine so I told him so. It was kinda funny really.

Yesterday eve I met my Beautiful Mia for a whiskey. She had just been tattooed for the first time ever. Here's a not very good photo of it:


I helped her with the design, so I feel kinda proud. And it looks fantastic in the flesh. I'll post a better pic once it's healed.
