What's happening hot stuff?

Moving art was depressing. Oooh that's 40grand, thats 400grand, whatever! how do you quantify??? I know people can talk and talk and analyze and talk and talk more, but in the end you like it or you don't. All the people dealing in it are stuffy old twats. I know I'm being a quick judge and generalizing, but I remember when art was fun.

had a lovely day here. it was 13C, which is very warm for the tundra in february.

went for a walk, came home, went for a walk again. so many lovely girls in suitably tight jeans wandering the streets that i couldn't stay at home. hung out at one of my favorite coffee shops and flirted with the owner. there's a date to be had there if i can quit smoking (her pet peeve).

have i mentioned that you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a coffee shop around here? there are 8 within a half-mile, each with it's own flavor of patron--Harley folk, gays, 20ish alcoholic punk rockers, cartoonists and artists and so on. when the weather is nice, i have a weakness for leaving the office to drink coffee and people watch.

I have really strange dreams, and I am one of those rare people who do not have large muscle paralysis when dreaming. Consequently I have bolted upright out of bed and have accidently hit bedmates over the years, while being completely unaware of my actions! Often when I get up I have to shake my head back into reality, as my bizarre dreams often seem more real than reality. Whatever the case is, I know I can not take acid. I tried this once years ago and it wrecked me, turning me into a screaming lunatic.

I agree, dreams are not linear. For me it is like a pile of photographs depicting people, symbols, actions, and events. The photographs are then tossed into the air and read as layers back and forth and up and down.

charles is selling himself short. he's reducing himself, making himself smaller and less important. it's a subtle slave mentality. the slave says: i will be good to you and devoted to you, but it is in my nature to escape because as you know, i am a slave and crave freedom. i don't know why some men reduce themselves and their capacity to love in this way. sometimes it's the only way they know how to find some intimacy. at any rate, you'd be wise to tell charles he deserves the devoted love of woman, even if it won't necessarily be yours.

that's funny. I argue with my mind all the time. Stupid mind!!!!! Thinks it knows everything!

I'm good. Yesterday at work was a disaster-my boss actually left in tears. I came home and did absolutely nothing. I usally try to do something like yoga if I get home in time, but last night I did nothing. I promised myself I would this morning, of course I didn't.

Off to work now. I'll say hi when I get there.

The coffins of Ghana are great! I've seen some in the shape of cars. When I pass on I'll leave a video instructing everyone who plans to inherit any of stuff to eat part of my brain to gain my "magic powers". The lawyer will then come out with a dish, with (probably not my real, I imagine it is illegal) my brain, chopped, cooked, and with little party toothpicks in them. Before I die I will convert to Zoarastrianism, and, like Freddy Mercury, I will have a "sky burial", meaning that I will be left out in a field for the vultures to eat.

i'm going swimming tonight actually. for the first time in ages. i'm a hopeless swimmer. i'm fairly fit but can only seem to manage a length or two before my heart feels like its going to burst. hopefully my friend will teach me or point out what i'm doing wrong..
