As I lay there, with my head pressed lightly against my pillow, my body begins to sweat. I suddenly awake in a place unknown to me gasping for air. I am soon able to breath and when I first open my eyes, I can not see anything but white, just all white. Slowly color begins to emerge, as if I was just blinded by the sunlight, yet there was no sun. The color is so vibrant, so bright! Blues, greens, reds, yellows, all more vibrant than I have ever seen, yet that is all they are, just colors. They take no real form....of anything. I get up and begin walking slowly, placing my arms in front of me, reaching for anything that might be there. The colors dodge away from hands like lightning bugs trying to escape a child's glass jar. They slowly begin to take form. Trees appear, water appears, grass appears and I soon realize I am out in a forest with a brook running through it. I look up and see the sunlight glaring through the canopy of trees....how beautiful it is. I see birds flying from tree to tree and hearing them sing their songs.
I continue walking, taking in all the sights and sounds of the this mysterious forest. I follow the brook so I don't lose my way. It seemed like hours of walking before I came across a wolf drinking the water. I stop. I can't move, I am unable to. The wolf is magnificent. All black, like a shadow. Swooshing his tail back and forth while drinking slowly. He stops. He turns his head and looks directly at me. I am still stuck. His green eyes sparkled like emeralds. I was mesmerized. He curled his lip and began to growl at me. I still can't move but I attempt to back up slowly. He tip toes forward, scruff up and teeth shining. He lunges, I can not dive out the way. I can feel the pain of him biting me and it all goes black.....
I wake up, gasping again in a pile of leaves. As before it takes a second before the images around me are visible. I am lower to the ground. I take a step forward and my back legs take one right after. I then realize that I am now the wolf. He has taken ahold of me. My soul and his soul are one. He begins to run, I have no control. We dodge through the branches, through the tall grass, over rocks...I have never felt so free, with no control over myself. The air in my face, the soil on my hands or now what were paws. It was invigorating.
The sun begins to set and continue running until we reach the edge of the woods. We abruptly stop. There is a figure standing there. The sun is to its back so it makes a silhouette which I can not make out. A hand reaches out to touch us....the figures fingers running through our hair as they pet us gently. We whine and sit down. I then realize the figure is my sister who passed away recently. I begin to feel tears weld up but nothing comes out but a whimper. She leans over and whispers in our ears....9383.
I wake up, tears rushing down my face, sweating and gasping. I realize I am now in my bed, in my room, in my home. I quickly rush out of bed , grab a pen and paper and write down the numbers. The numbers turned out to be the code to her phone, which we needed to get some information because we were locked out of her phone.......
That was the weirdest dream/experience I've ever had and has honestly changed my outlook on spirits. I should tell you also that my spirit animal is a wolf, so the fact that it was a wolf is also amazing. True story.
