This weeks blog homework from @rambo and @missy is to talk about our pets! yay! My pets are my children!
Lets start with Burt....my ginger kitty. Burt thinks he's a dog...he was basically raised by them. He was rescued as a kitten (almost 10 years ago)from a shelter and was the last in his litter to get adopted. He sings and talks to me and is probably the most social cat you'll ever meet....again...he think he's a dog. He loves to cuddle under my covers also!
Isn't he so handsome?!
Here he is being a sneaky kitty....
Next we have the youngest in the family at 2 years old...Darth Bane (named after my favorite sith lord :) ) He could also be called the spawn of satan because he's a bad kitty!! My little tuxedo cat. I found him outside in the middle of the desert at 4 months old....
Mmmhmmm...He lays in sinks..
Being a bad boy...
And then we have MY baby...Bella. She is a pit bull/whippet mix. I shouldve named her Courage (as in Courage the Cowardly dog) because she is afraid of EVERYTHING! Any sound, bump, boom, someone running by her, she runs and hides. While she's almost 5 years now...she still has the face of a puppy. She's my cuddle buddy when I'm sick and she's always by my side. She loves her ball and forcing cuddles...even if it hurts (squishes her face between me and my man). She also rescued at the age of 3 months.
Look at that face!
Mom...I'm bored!
I WILL CUDDLE WITH YOU!! EVEN IF IT HURTS!
This ball wore me out
And then we have the oldest...Sugar. She is nearly 10. She has a lot of health issues , including bad skin rashes that make her itch all the time. The vets can't tell us really what its from other than it's not contagious and to keep her on benedryl :( She was abandoned by the St.Louis Arch with her puppies when she was found. They spayed her away so her body never had time to bounce back so she is forever "Droopy". I should've named her Miss Piggy....because she's always pink lol. You can't go anywhere in the house with out this dog tripping you because she's scared you'll leave her...even the bathroom...she sits outside the door and cries, as if you're going to disappear through a portal on the other side.
Heres how she likes to wake us up in the morning....
And heres her pouty face
These are my kids....my babies...all rescues...I don't know what I would do without them!
XoXo
