I'm back, yay! biggrin They changed my name to from Mara to Mara1. I guess someone stole my name. The site has changed a whole bunch since I've been gone.

1. When Demoivre made me sit in a room with a bunch of white MTV loving 20 somethings for over an hour... *shudder*. I was HAPPY when the floating terrors showed up. God damn White Devils!!!

2. My old work used to pay me to drive down to LA with them. Spend a few hours setting up a booth. And then give me 3 hours off to shop the LA gift show where I bought a wakizashi for 18 bucks. They paid for all my meals and I made lots of over time.

1. One of the first DND campaigns I ever played in, circa 1979. We fought a dragon and the Dungeon Master did his voice so well, it was the scariest thing ever. Ever. Except, of course, for Care Bears. *shudders*

2. I worked for a private investigator for a time, tailing people and trying not to lose them in heavy traffic.

3. I don't have shoelaces--I wear cheap-ass slip-ons. It says I'm cheap and lazy. wink

4. Most kittens never pay back any money you loan them; they drink all of the rum; they are really Care Bears in disguise. Bleh!

Yay! I love my work! I just got back from the beach (I got some sun, which scares me). The girls and I built sand sculptures (dolphins, mermaids, jellyfish, etc.) and went swimming. Girl's Inc was fun. I think I'll play in the back row if we're throwing things next time though.

Apparently movie popcorn is just butter flavored chemicals, not that surprising really. However the cleaner they use it is stronger than what the coast gaurd uses to clean oil spills and its common policy that theatre's won't let employees clean the popcorn machine more than two days in a row because then they'd be obligated to pay them workers comp while they took the next few days off in the hospital, which can happen from prolonged exposure or just one good inhalation(word?). At least this is all according to K whatever so they're may be a wee bit of exageration here and there. However I shant be eating popcorn at the movies anytime soon.

That's true, you never really do hear about low blood pressure, but the hamburgers will fix it up pretty fast, especially the Wendy's triple burger, it's pretty much a heart attack in a bun.
