The only thing that keeps me going (beyond the academic requirement) is that I really like France. I've been there only once, Paris to be specific, and I made a complete fool of myself every minute. I probably offended everyone I spoke to and looked like a typical American. And the thing is that I'm not! I have so much more appreciation for culture than a lot of people I know. And that was before I traveled. While growing up my mom always taught me to respect others. Not only that but to listen and learn from others too. Closed minds don't get fed. So if I'm going to learn and indulge I must master this language! Or at least learn how to fight a little better. Have a good weekend ladies! Peace!
