Last night was interesting to say the least.
First incident:
A woman and her husband came in and wanted to send a fax, I told her the prices, mentioned its extra for long distance, and that you pay per sheet sent. So, things get done, they get the confirmation and then call the recipient. (It was a government kind of thing) and they said that...

Last night was pretty cool. (details when Im not so sluggish)
and I seem to be more bothered than I thought I should be by people speaking loudly in a public place in a foreign language. I guess you don't need to keep personal conversations at a personal volume if you know that a vast majority won't understand you.

now batman fucking rocks! it is very alex ross-ish.
For all those of you who haven't worked at 7 after not being able to sleep until after 3, I really don't reccomend it. Espescially if you have a standing up and walking kind of job and your shoes suck. Memo to self: new shoes for work.
Drawing seems to be going not to shabby, I got the rough outline of a Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman done....

Hey you, that present was from me too
Ok, I guess I'll kick off with a favour to ask (Jesus, I'm demanding aren't I?) If anyone knows somewhere that I can upload MP3's to, just so I can make links to songs on my journals (only for the people who own the CD with it, or for archival purposes of course.... Just in case Mr.Ashcroft's little blackshirts are spying on this Canadian troublemaker...

The crappiest thing I know my employer did: last year they relocated two employees (who happened to be husband & wife) from IL to AZ. Then about 8 mos. later, they were both laid off- on the very same day, no warning!! After about 12 years' of devoted service....
Oh.. hey, how did you change your username? I sent in a question & they didn't answer me yet!
Thanx! I had no idea it would be so easy to change the name! LJ usernames have a charge attached to them if you don't want to lose all your settings & friends! The name I wanted to use is already in use though...

I like your resolutions. I'm trying to take up reading again myself. I used to read voraciously. I will make that resolution too. And maybe I'll try to write, where you draw.
Here it is:
----
THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
Action of Second Continental Congress, July 4, 1776
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America
WHEN in the Course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to...

What are you doing this weekend, Mr. Lonely?
hawksley:
There's more to come... we still have to make the tape
I was thinking today about the nature of fourth of july.
Fireworks
Booze
I could see how explosives and foggy judgement could represent America this year. No offense to the citizens, just a comment on the administration.

the star wars game is so much easier this round. now that i am dark side i just do force persuade and make people give me their money. it is fantastic. once you go dark, you never go back. *smile*
Got myself a new video game yesterday, (god, I love EB's game trade policy) City of Heroes... Yep, I think it will take care of my boredom rather nicely. I spent pretty much all of last night patrolling the streets as Dr.Awesome, beating on criminals and the like.

I have never played a video game in my life. I saw someone play pong once when I was a kid. That's is my full experience.
laputa64:
i LOVE video games. there is no better way to spend your time.
I myself am currently addicted to Star Wars; Knights of the Old Republic. I beat the game doing light side and am now going back through playing on the dark side.

Mmm, human rights and Labatt's.
Today was a pretty cool day, and if I had more foresight I would have written this update earlier before my brain took off for the night.
Thanks to a guardian angel I won't be fading to gray as earlier prophecied. That made my day brighten up quite a bit, (hell my month brighten up)
I got a parcel from my folks, my scanner and...

we definentl noted the handle change. it through me off for a second.
i am so bad at getting these ideas that i am going to do something and then not doing it. i tried to give up coke. my worse vice though is exercising. i do it for a week or two and then it fades away to nothingness. i need someone to kick my ass and keep me motivated.
