Me: 'I just dont understand how people continue to re-hash horrible things that happened to them. Continue to talk about it over and over and over again, and make it a staple in the majority of their conversation. I couldnt imagine being defined[by others] by these things. It makes me so sad, and i know everyone is different, and everyone needs different amounts of time to deal with trauma, or tragedy, but at some point, i just want to tell them to get over it.'

Dad: 'Sometimes people feel when bad thing happen to them, they are owed something, or deserve something. They continue to use it as an excuse to not take resposibility for their actions and mistakes in their life. When not so good things happened to you kids, i never let you feel you were any more special than anyone else in the world.'

Insane weather?eh? I dont want people to die or anything, but its good for business(bad weather, not people dying.)

I dont really feel like divulging in the events of the past week. Not horrible, not wonderful.
I start school tomorrow. smile
With everyone running off to work in Florida and most likely New Orleans, i'll be here helping run the business as much as i can. Hopefully be able to make around $2k part time a month. Im not sure how much i can work with school and all. Or maybe i'll do some substitute teaching. I went to the orientation and i have this little name tag, its kinda cute. I have urges to get some crayons though, and personalize it.

My little sister participated inthis which i thought was pretty neat.
I ate some beets and garlic earlier. it was really yummy, although i might not be smellin to good tomorrow.

Edited to say: Please pray, or do whatever it is you may do, for the people in New Orleans. I'm afraid a lot of people will die, due to circumstance, and only that. Sleep with lots of love in your hearts.

When bad things happen to people they, obviousl, feel as if they had some sort of cost applied to them. Most people feel that if someone applies a cost to them then they need to apply a fee. To whoever they can, just so long as they recieve some sort of payment for it. I always always make it a point to not feel that way. People don't like to think that, hey, sometimes shit just happens. No one is at fault and even though you get "charged" something there will be no compensation. It just scares them to think that the real world just isn't fair and never will be. That at any time you can have evverything you have taken from you from any one of all angles and no reason. I don't see why it's so difficult to accept. I've done it. I always live my life with the thought that I could die within a few hours. It makes you live your life a lot better I think. You end up being a lot happier thinking that what you are seeing might be the last time you will so you better enjoy it. Cause you do end up enjoying it more.

That hurricane looks like it's gonna be gnarly. Hope eevryone gets out of there. biggrin
