yesterday was a very productive day.. im proud of myself for finally getting it together and doing some serious organizing in my room.. it gets so messy because i have nowhere to put all my art stuff.. i need a big table to lay things out on.. where i can work and leave everything when i get caught up in something else.. like ..... baking those peanut m&m cookies.. which turned out good.. but apparently were a little too crunchy.. oh well.. its better than cake-like like the last ones.. i decided that i had too many vintage slips hanging up in my closet.. so i pulled the dresser that was in there and put it at the foot of my bed.. (scraping my arm in the process.. furniture can be so damn heavy sometimes) .. and filled up the top drawer with all of them.. i decided it was time to switch from my summer korean blanket to my down comforter... and today its 45 degrees outside!! i was burning up last night.. i had odd dreams again..

this time it involved me being at a supermarket.. having a panic attack.. ending up stomach down on the floor in front of the exit door.. and drooling.. everyone just stepped over me and went about their business.. until i came too then i tried to find a ride home.. for some reason the supermarket was in new jersey.. and i had my toads with me .. in their travel aquarium.. the person giving me a ride wouldnt take them along too.. and she assured me they would be cared for until i was able to get back and pick them up.. i swear.. i dont know where these things come from... i woke up with a sweaty neck.. and decided to just sleep with a sheet..

im not as bummed out today .. i think organizing really helped.. and i have to start working on two mixtapes .. one for my best friend for christmas.. she got me a travel typewriter thats blue and from the 60s.. im so stoked!! i love typewriters.. theyre my favorite.. and i have to start one for dad.. since hes trying to get back into newer music.. this means ill put a bunch of mid-90's indie rock on it for him.. haha.. he did mention he likes interpol though.. buut.. i dont like them so they definately will not go on the tape..

im thinking about going out to washington to visit him for two weeks in january.. but still havent decided yet.. on the one hand it would be really nice to see him.. on the other hand its kind of a pain in the neck for me to travel sometimes with the cats and toads and all.. though im sure i could pawn morticia and igor (the toads) on my best friend for a couple weeks.. after all.. shes already the one responsible for providing them with crickets almost every week... since i have no car and cant get out to the pet store..

also.. i want to add that i will NEVER cook with onions again.. i thought i hated them before.. and i hate them even more now.. ill just stick to garlic.. its way better anyway..
