just say no to the flavor savers..
kids are trick or treating in the store i work at today..
there was a girl about 8 or 9 .. who walked in.. i greeted her ...she was wearing a leaf covered halo with candles sticking out of it.. and a white cloak with a red sash and i told her how awesome she looked.. and she said in reply..

"do you even know what i am?"

i was baffled and not sure what to tell her cause i had no clue what she was.. and i told her i thought she was an angel..

"nooo... im the ghost of saint lucia"

since when did kids dress up like saints for halloween? are we back in the 1800's?

Obviously the product of homeschooling, her parents forbid her from reading Harry Potter, watching teevee, and having "friends." When permitted to leave the house, she wears homemade clothing and only gets to participate in Halloween if she dresses up as something "blessed" or "holy."

The pronounced masochism in her particular choice of costume suggests, among other things, a future in self-mutilation and Star Trek conventions.

I excercise my right to dress in a morbid fashion each halloween. Not as a saint, professional, or anything light hearted for that matter. I'm kind of back...watch out now.
