happy end-of-calendar-year festival season to everyone. i don't care what you celebrate. don't even tell me. i'm not gonna ask. for me, this is the winter feast. for my family, it's consumermas. there's no christ involved. we don't even say grace at the dinner table and we never ever go to church despite my having gone to catholic school my whole life.

pretty much just stoked for new year's at this point.

i'm in calgary at the moment. new mexico was killer. i got to see redmess which is always a hell of a pleasure. last night, in calgary, i hung out with lavonne and jameswyper and rin and uproot. rin i hadn't seen in THREE YEARS since she moved to san diego so that was UM SUPER AWESOME.

i've been doing a lot of traveling lately. not a lot of smoking, though, really truly i promise scout's honour.


this here's the reason i went to new mexico.


i love sunshine. i crave it so hard, living in vancouver. i love the warmth on my skin even on a cold day. i love how it makes everything so much prettier. i live for sunny days.


but vancouver is pretty frickin' beautiful, after all.
