Few days ago:
Me: Hey Mom, I'm coming home to borrow her (sister's) camera.
Mom: You need your own camera. Here's some money, go get yourself one. You can use it on the trip anyways.
Me: *gleem*


Here's my extremely awesome and tiny doo-dad:

Nikon Coolpix 5600....cause I would've broken the bank with the other one that I wanted.
This one has enough manual control to keep me satisfied until I can get myself a SLR. I found a number of other cameras that were really nice too...just a little too pricey.
Having the high resolution pictures will be great for practicing my Photoshopping skills, and give me the option to print some nice big photos (which I think I'm going to turn into Santa Day presents this year...lol) without losing detail.
