Happy Independence Day, folks. I thought I'd dust off the old flag avatar and give it some time in the sun. Though it looks like today is a cloudy humid thunderstorm day.

I'm going to my Aunt & Uncle's barbecue in Delaware County today. It should be good family fun. I always try to make family events, because I recognize how lucky I am to have a family like mine.

My cat is panting on the floor here. It's not that hot in here... it's his own damn fault for tearing around like a lunatic. He woke me up this morning at 10:30 (for the 12th time) but he did it with his claws on my legs and feet. Bastard. So I got up and clipped the fucker. hehehe

I got my boots yesterday. Anyone who was at the SG PGH party or the halloween bash at Teena and blackcorvidae's place might remember the boots I wore with the leather corset costume. Those boots belonged to my sister. Last week she found the same ones on Ebay, brand new, and let me bid on them. She wanted them as a backup for the first pair, but didn't have the money to bid on them this time. Neither did I, really... but I got lucky. They cost me FIVE dollars. Plus $10 shipping. That's only $15 total when Tina paid $50 for hers a few years ago. You should see these boots. They're fucking hot. I'll take pictures later. I bet they'll go great with the leather dress.

I'm gonna go get some breakfast and call my mom. Why am I up so early? Oh yeah, the cat.
