I have spent the last few days driving the folks back and forth to four cemeteries within Iowa, cleaning headstones and placing flowers, taking the time to thank those that had served the call of the country, talking about cherished love ones and laughing about funny moments.
Time well spent and thankful for the time that I had with my parents... I hope anyone else that is celebrating can be as lucky as I feel today.
