This has been a rough, painful year for all of us.... but it can be an educational year as well.
We have seen the divides and barriers we have always had between our groups... then had the separation from within our family and friends.
We have seen the true colors of people that we never wanted to see... yet also the resilience and determination in others the be vocal, take to the streets, or even keep working and serving in dire scenarios.
We have learned hard truths, seen through terrible lies, and navigated the channels to learn more.
May we all take the bruises, the hard knocks, the distances we needed and created and the memories of those we have lost and not return to the pre-2020 status quo... but use the knowledge and make the world better starting with 2021.
