It has been a long year for sure and it is leaving as it went... I have been house sitting for my sister so she could be near her in laws while waiting for the passing of their grandmother. Both Grandmother (named Maybin) and her sister passed from COVID.
Now my sister is driving back and I am packing up my computer. I have been working from home since April 4th. Her dogs are very confused with my presence and the obvious prep to leave... but I have to be out before she is back since she has been exposed again (she works in health care and was allowed more access than normal) and I need to be very careful as the primary help for our parents.
I hope and wish we all have a better new year than what 2020 has brought to us... may we all rally around those that are with us, remember those no longer by our sides, and be prepared to make this next year better for us all.
