Got to watch an awesome documentary about Galaxy Quest this evening at the theater.... really put perspective on the shift between growing up when nerd culture was a shunned thing to be a member to now where many have found community in so many fandoms.
I really hated the isolation growing up with being into science fiction, roleplaying games, and fantasy novels. I wish I had the base of people that appreciate these thing now back then.
If you are fan fan of the movie or of nerd culture, give this a view when it hits streaming!
