Back to work on ideas for a new world setting for 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons. I've enjoyed D&D for over 30 years.... the epic stories, the intrigue, the characters, and the friendships that I have formed.
I am currently playing a cleric in a Forgotten Realms campaign but I have never really cared for the setting. So it is back to work on my own... taking bits and pieces from other D&D settings, like Dragonlance and Eberron, some from third party 5th edition developers such as Midgard by Kobold Press and Tal'dorei (Critical Role) published by Green Ronin, and other RPGs such as Pathfinder, EarthDawn, and Dragon Age.
I am really enjoying the building of the world and gaming again. I still plan on playing Numenera and running a Star Trek Adventures campaign... but I will always have a sweet spot for D&D....
