So, sorry I've been out of it a bit lately. If you're still working on your paper - I might suggest you look at some democratic theory stuff. Things like Ben Barber or Ian Shapiro or Iris Marion Young. Really, any democratic theory works - because the basic idea is "correctable policy" - and it would let you compare/contrast individual change and institutional change against each other.

My cousin, Roisin Isner, who is now 17, made this movie. Her only "narrative" film she says. She showed it to me last Sunday. Her mom was a video artist and was in ArtForum and all that so maybe that would explain the natural talent. I don't know, except that I am envious.
