Pros:

lots of explosions
passable CG (Yes, just passable, but I need to come up with some pros)
I was working the suspension of disbelief as much as I could. Future tech - alright, I'll ignore some physics. Nanites - sure, that makes a lot of things 'possible'.
But when they blew the ice pack, and the ice.....
