It is confirmed. My baby shat an apex seal on the front rotor.
I'm not giving up on her just yet though. I have another complete engine that came out of one of my parts cars. I'm pretty sure that engine also lost an apex seal, given that I bought the whole car for $200, but between the 2 blown engines and all my other spare parts, I should be able to make the next one even better. I've already brought her back from the dead three times, at least this time its not because of a crash.
Fortunately my dad just got another car so I'll be able to borrow the old one for a few months.

After living up in the mountains for a few years they have become totally dead thanks to major rust issues. The told me 1.5 years ago that they needed urgent replacement.
They lasted 70,000 so it was a decent run... but thanks for the heads up.
