madness_____

As promised

I sit in my hole as the chill slowly bleeds me

Remembering all of my pain and failures

The cold slowly draws them from my mind

Darkness overcomes my body and soul

Sucking away my hate and rage

Everything that draws me from solitude

I can no longer feel the slap to the face

I can't feel the legs that give me support

Permafrost coats my bones, ice water fills my veins

My heart slows, my mind becomes null

My vision fades to a painful black

As I give into the numbing cold my last thought is

The void is eternal, and I have found my immortality
