Well I am still alive.
New Year went rather well, although I live in Edinburgh I have only been to the street party once but I was through in Falkirk for the bells plus the first footing.
I had a relatively successful trip to Kiev, no romance mind you but I had a wonderful time experiencing their version of Christmas.
I have also booked up some Holidays for this year, my first is Ljubljana-Split-Dubrovnik-Bari-Venice-Ljubljana to see the Scotland game plus see some new sights and see old favourites.
Summer Holidays, I have three weeks to spare so in the tradition of Madneil I am doing a train trek to the following cities staying a night or two in each. Flying to Libson then visiting Barcelona-Marseilles-Vienna-Kosice-Maybe Chisinau-Sevastopol-Kiev-Lodz is my current thinking!!!
I should be in attendance at some of SGScotland do's in the near future, you have been warned.

I am hoping to get out of the country a few times this year..ive booked a small trip to switzerland..thats a start...
