Well time for a quick update.
Still haven't had the chance to sort out all my photos and write something about my adventures but unfortunately I got some bad news about my dad health shortly before I left. It was actually a close call if I actually went on the trip but my dad told me to go, that's what he wants so that's what I did but he was always close to my thoughts whilst I was away.
Anyway since I have returned I have spend a lot with my parents, catching with friends whom a fair percentage of them know my dad as a school teacher from there School days, add work commitments(which sometimes involves evening work) and a conference in Scarborough tomorrow and Thursday. I am not actually at home very much and only really able to commit to things with only days to go. Don't worry I will post stuff eventually once I have the time plus actually reply to blogs as well.
Before I go, I thought Japan was wonderful, wonderfully polite (maybe not as good English speakers) people, I liked the Bright neon lights, the late night bars, I thought what I saw of Kyoto to be wonderful, The SG Japan night out, Hokkaido was nice as well, Karaoke Bars as well plus the cheesy jingles and signs. Plus it was far cheaper then expected. I am planning on a return trip as I never saw enough of this place.
Australia was nice as well, I stayed in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. I met many lovely SG members in some of these places as well. Plus I met Harold Bishop (don't worry this will be the first Oz Photo to surface). I liked seeing the countryside as well but Nullabor Plain is a never to be repeated experience, I will have to try to get my work to send me to Perth at some point.
Anyway, thanks for the birthday wishes but I have a confession to make, my birthday is actually 6th November not 11th June!!!
