In recent days, President Bush has come under some fire by scholars and pundits alike by saying that Iraq was NOT currently engaged in a civil war. But how do we know this? Factions within Iraq have been fighting against one another for months now.
Egypt President Hosni Mubarak, however, went on record by sayting that Iraq in fact WAS on the brink of civil... Read More
Ive played fantasy baseball for a number of years now. To this point, I have exclusively played on Yahoo, which is free and pretty comprehensive. Ive even been part of a private league with the same players that has gone on for some 7 years now. Im participating in 3 Yahoo leagues this year, including one made exclusively of fantasy members. But this year, for... Read More
Earlier this week, elections were held in Israel. The Kadima party, founded by now-comatose Ariel Sharon and led by current Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, won the most seats and will form a government. But by only capturing 28 of the 120 seats in the Israeli parliament (the Knesset), they are hardly in a position majoritarian enough to form a government.
Have you read the bit in the Hamas doctrine about how any comprimise is against the divine vision? Basically that if you compromise at all, it's wrong, and if you ever have, it's your duty to go back against it. Despite this, I hope that they decide to compromise and take a LONG TIME to go back against it.
I believe that as long as closed-mindedness reigns in the area, peace has no place. And most religious beliefs seem to rely on a closed mind. It's sad, true, and some tolerance may come about, but I doubt true peace will ever come about. Equalizing control may help things, though... reaching some kind of equilibrium would probably alleviate a lot of the violence, but the tensions will be there as long as each country's beliefs rely on negating those of the other countries in the area.
And that is why I refuse religion, among other reasons.
LFO needs a kiss right now, he's been sick since yesterday afternoon.
And thank you, I'm sure everything will work out.
Hmmm... randomness... one time I set my finger on fire trying to see if tape would catch fire. (I knew it would melt, but I wanted to know if it would burn...) It does. And the flaming, melting goo stuck to the index finger of my right hand. I still have the scar. It's my awesomest "I'm a retard" story. I managed to hide that from my mom, who is a nurse, and who was at home at the time. I just told her I cut myself (hence the bandaid) and took care of it so it wouldn't get infected. She still doesn't know.
Well, the wife is out of town for a few days. She's gone to Alabama to help her sister with the new baby. That means that yours truly will be here all by his lonesome until Sunday.
What to do, what do do.
I guss now is a safe time to download porn, drink lots of liquor, and invite the midgets and hookers over.
Yes, it's been a bit too long since an update, but I didn't want anyone to miss the Spain pics, and I didn't really want to get rid of them for my sake either. One of these days I'll print hard copies out on my photo printer. But ah, isn't procrastination grand?

its hard to explain, really. and hard to remember! mainly, I think there were 2 sets per day from established SGs. and there was new-girl friday. that shit was exciting. "ooh, lets see who's lucky enough to be accepted to be a SG!" now, newbies are popping up all over the place and I can't keep up.
its also getting too crowded in here. there are so many random mofos. it seemed really exclusive to be a member of SG. heh, I said member.
I dunno. We got popular. and I'm not digging it, thus far. Kinda like if American Idol joined to cast of Cheers and people shouted "Paula!" instead of "NORM!"
