Still no new computer. I've been promised a replacement by the middle of next week, and hopefully, inshallah, this one will work just fine. My current unit (heh, I said unit) is about three years old now, and it's definitely time for an upgrade. I went all out, too.

GEEK ALERT
I've spent the last couple of weeks rebagging, reboarding, and reboxing my entire comic collection. For those of you not in the hobby, you have to replace the bags and boards on your comics about every 3-4 years. It's been considerably longer than that for me, so it was time.
I decided to go all out this time as well--plastic boxes, archival boards; hell, I even bought some plastic dividers. My collection isn't the biggest one out there, but I do like to take care of it--the anal-retentive in be won't allow anything otherwise.

There is a very good chance I will get to spend a couple of weeks in South Africa next summer. My university is working on developing a program with a school in Port Elizabeth that could get me there teaching South African students. That would roxor! Macao is a possibility as well, but that one is a litlle farther off.

Birmingham City finally got a win this weekend. 3-2 over West Brom. I was starting to worry for a while there.
WHile on the soccer subject--I've gotten a couple of new shirts this week
SC Heerenveen (Holland)--one of my favorite kits of all time
FSV Mainz (Germany)--why the heck not...I like the shirt!
AFC Wimbledon--one I've wanted for a while
I also have an FC United of Manchester shirt on order! I'm a founding member. Woot!
