Got back from Wilmington on Friday. The wife and I had a real nice time. We ended up staying at the C.W. Worth House which was lovely. Very dollhouse-ish. We got to stay in a room with a round "turret" which is something I've always wanted to do.
Lessee...we ate at both the Pilot House and Elijah's, both of which are highly recommended. We also saw the lighthouse on Oak Island. I have a soft spot for lighthouses, so this was something I really wanted to do. Five more to go in NC.... We also drove to Southport, which is a very charming village about a half hour south of WIlmington. All in all a nice, relaxing weekend.
Only one more trip to go before summer vacation is up--off to Fort Worth, Texas to see the family this Thursday.

Football (soccer) season is starting up all around Europe the next couple of weeks. I'm a happy man.
