Whew! Just about finished with the house. The boxes are unpacked, furniture is in the right place, miscellaneous crap is in the attic. Things are finally starting to come together. We're still waiting on a couple of things:

1. We've got a leaky hose connecting the washer to the water. In theory, the plumber is coming by today to take care of that (as well as a few other niggling water-related problems)

2. We've still got to hang stuff on the walls. Not too big a deal here. My "man room-slash-office" is finished (which, of course, is the most important thing). and the den is done also, but bedrooms, living room, and kitchen still need decor on the walls.

The mother-in-law has treated us to a week in Myrtle Beach in the meantime--around the end of May. Plus we're driving to DC in early June to catch a couple of Nationals games.

So things are finally settling down. Once all this is finished, my appearences here on SG will be a little more frequent...me promise!
