Still two more trips for me this summer before classes start. This weekend I am off to Fort Worth, Texas for a couple of lovely days with the parents. I'll be going alone, so I have no buffer. This is the first time I will have seen my dad since he's gone into semi-retirement. It will be interesting to see what he is doing with all of his spare time.
As irony would have it, my brother's wife and kids will be out of town as well, so it will just be the basic family unit together. That might be a bit weird. heh.
It should be fun, though . I will read a couple of books, drink a couple of beers, and maybe see a ball game or two.
