The social at SouthernBelle's was fun, despite the small turnout. Besides myself, SB, and pravon, there was pavlovsdog and some ex of Belle's who was really there only in hopes of trying to get down her pants. The guy was 29, but acted about 19. I know, because I used to be like that--about 15 years ago! Makes me glad I'm not that age anymore.

Anyway, we went to a swell sushi joint in Charlotte, then to the liquor store for goodies. Since we were mixing drinks, I got Cuervo 1800, which is about the top of the middle shelf, IMHO. From there it was the grocery store for mixers and snacks.

We didn't really play any games. But we did read Trivial Pursuit cards to one another. Belle and I finished off the whole bottle, which is semi-frightening in retrospect. But the mango margarita mix was just too good not to finish it.

We watched lots of olympics and made fun of Bode Miller and that girl snowboarder who showboated and busted her ass a few nights ago.

The next morning was pancakes the size of your arm. Dee-lish!

Sorry more of you couldn't make it. SouthernBelle is always a great host. Too bad SteveNeurotic wasn't up for much that night. We saw him for like half an hour, and he didn't stir the next morning for pancakes.
