I've really been in an exploratory music mood in recent days. By that, I mean that I've been trying out some obscure (well, to me at least) music and downloading them. I've been very pleased with some of the stuff that I've been finding.

I thought I might, out of the goodness of my heart, recommend a few to you. And if they are old hat to you, I give you permission to gently extend your middle finger in my direction. I'm old, after all. wink

Here are ten songs high on my playlist right now--I tried to create a semi-mix of music to show how diverse I am biggrin

Ladytron: Destroy Everything you Touch--my favorite of the lot, I think. This song is teriffic

Fort Minor: Believe Me--some very groovy hip hop

Jamiroquai: Time Won't Wait--He's not a huge secret, but this song is way cool

Mando Diao: God Knows--simple, but effective.

Royksopp: Only this Moment--recommended by me before, but worth repeating

Scissor Sisters: Get it Get it. I dig their sound. Cut a new album, already

Texas: Can't Resist. Texas is a secret shame of mine. Blame it on Bend it Like Beckham. Why they don't get more US airplay is beyond me.

Gorillaz: Dare. Not an obscure band, obviously, but a brilliant song.

Phoenix: Too Young. The more I listen to this band, the more I like them. This song is my favorite of theirs

Linkin Park: Numb See yesterday's entry. I've been listening to a lot of them lately. Maybe deep down I'm angry...like Chester.

That's enough for now. Download, and review!

Now that you have a general idea of what kind of stuff I like, feel free and throw some recommendations my way as well.

kitschy:
P.s. The Scissor Sisters' "Gorgeous" or is it "Flithy and Gorgeous?" Anyway, that song rocks my world!
