Faculty members at my university are allowed to take one class per semester free of charge. I decided to take advantage of that and take something I've wanted to for quite a while.

I've always been somewhat of a language nut. I speak German pretty fluently and quite a few other languages poorly. And I'm always looking to expand my vocabulary.
Anyway, so far, the course has been great. It's only been three weeks, and my vocabulary is probably less than a couple hundred words, but it's been a blast.
I haven't actually sat on the other side of a classroom for, oh, about six years now. So it's a nice change of face. Plus the instructor is top-notch. Exactly what one needs in a language class.
Hopefully I'll absorb just enough to be dangerous on my trip to Marbella in March.
