Wow I'm due an update, aren't I? Has it been a week already since the last party? Time flies when you are having fun.
Odds and ends today:

I've got a couple of old friends from Alabama and Georgia visiting me this weekend. It's good to have some old, familiar faces here. To be perfectly honest, a majority of our weekend has been spent geeking out and kicking the shit out of one another in various and sundry Mortal Kombat games, but sometimes you need weekends like that. And when there is also a little liquor involved, it's a double bonus. Pictures of us soon.

School is going very well so far this semester. I've got a bright group of kids so far, and teaching a large class (roughly 80 students) hasn't been quite a burden as I thought it would be to this point. Of course, after I have to grade a stack of 80 midterms I might not quite be thinking this positively. But no complaints thusfar.

Pravon is still struggling with illness that seems to be shifting from body part to body part. She's taken two doses of antibiotics and still is suffering a bit. She's starting to get a little worried, but she's never fought off infection very well--she's a slow healer.
******
A good sports weekend for me--Vanderbilt beats Mississippi State by 28 and Birmingham City hammers Pompey to climb up to 18th place in the Premiership. But Cunningham is out for a month. I hope they can avoid relegation, but I still have my doubts. Now Carolina neets to complete the trifecta tonight against the Seahawks.

I've decided to change my list of favorite SGs to ladies I've actually met and/or talked with. And they are all on my friends list. Na nee na nee boo boo!
Nothing againts Blyss, Maxi, and Bettina, who are all HAWT, but I prefer the whole package too
