I've been feeling, well, old lately.

Is there some age where it's not cool to do the things you do and say the things you say? At what point to you turn into your parents, who are ALWAYS old at any age?

Gee whiz, I'm 35 years old (almost 36) and still into things that twenty-somethings and teenagers do and like. Is it that I refuse to grow up? Or am I gently extending my middle finger at the rest of the world?

Look at SG as an example. I'm definitely in the oldest 10 percent on this site. Does that make me weird? When I go to SG events, to all the whippersnappers look at me and go, "gosh, what's that old fart doing here? This is for the young and the hip?" Is it strange that I look at pictures of naked women young enough to be my, umm, younger sister?

I guess the question I'm asking is "Is there some point where I need to move on and be a responsible, taxpaying, regular adult.?"

Or can I be a kid inside until they day they bury me and still have my dignity?

Hey! I finally made a new pic of myself. No more Carlos Mencia-slash-Grumpy Old Man!

That picture rocks!!!

Usuallly my family is pretty good about keeping birthday and Christmas seperate. Although sometimes some people will send me one each - where they send everyone else two each.. As long as they are separate, it's okay with me.

I'd say - stay a kid inside. You'll be much happier that way. It drives me NUTS when people over 30 start buying walkers and hanging out at senior's bingo. Please! Old is a state of mind...
