Whew. I'm with kitschy. This semester can't end soon enough. Not that it was a whole lot of suck or anything. I just get really drained by the end of the semester, and am looking forward to the four-week holiday to catch my breath and recharge my batteries. Plus to get out of Dodge for a spell.
Of course, during vacation, there is always the obligatory visitations to both the parents and inlaws. This year, its her folks for X-mas, my folks for New Yea'rs Day. We usually flip-flop every three years or so. Her folks are a bit more on the religious significance of Christmas (being the good wholesome Baptists that they are), so being with them ON X-Mas day is more meaningful to them than it is to my parents.
But at the same time, I bitch a bit if we do too many in a row with her folks.
Right now its five nights in Alabama and four in Texas. That still leaves a good 2 1/2 weeks here doing nothing, which I am grateful for, to say the least. Maybe I can finally get caught up on some reading.
Music Recommendation of the Day: Royksopp Some VERY cool tracks on their new CD. Some you'll want to forward through, but you're bound to get a couple stinkers on an 80-minute CD.
Might I recommend the tracks: Only this Moment, What Else is There, and Follow My Ruin
