Fun Halloween party at kitschy's and Idjiit's place last night. They were teriffic hosts and real troopers for allowing so many people into their home. Sorry about breaking that glass....that was when I was still sober...honest.
I made a lot of new friends and got to see a lot of not-quite-as new friends. Hopefully my friends list will expand a bit this week. Pravon and I dressed as Velma and Shaggy (of Scooby-Doo fame).
There were a lot of fun and nicely thought-out costumes on display as well. The bar is definitely raised!
Unfortunately, yours truly had a little too much to drink, and I had to cut out early because I knew I had had too much. So if I ran off without saying goodbye to anyone in particular, A thousand apologies.
The problem was with mixing the liquors. I'm usually a tequila drinker, and of course I brought a bottle of the good stuff (Cabo Wabo for the undeducated
) which I shot from and shared for the night.
However, I also had a couple of Bailey's on the rocks and a taste of an odd chocolate-orange concoction. Bad idea.
Fortunately for me, I'm not a very belligerent or obnoxious drunk. And for that I am thankful. But gosh, it's been like ten years I bet since I got sick from drinking. I was reminded very quickly about how unpleasant it was.
But I'm feeling fine now. Thanks for asking.
