Driving to DnD on Sunday, minding my own business, doing nothing wrong... Cop starts following me. Awesome, right? When I made my third turn he pulled me over, I asked why, and boy did I not like the answer!

He ran my plates and came back with two warrants and a suspended license. Gah. I had paid the two tickets, which was an improper left turn and no seat belt (one of those left turns where you can only make left turns between such and such hours, but you can't read that until you get up to the light!) and the suspension came back as from Lafayette county, which was a ticket I had paid... And Kansas told me as soon as the ticket was paid the suspension would be lifted automatically, no need to go pay for a reinstatement or anything.. I have the notice of compliance for all that, so I need to go in and get that dropped.. And figure out what the hell happened at Driver Control out in Topeka. Wtf... So in spent 5 hours in jail and dealing with BS.. The cell was disgusting And they broke a pair of mother of pearl earrings I had purchased 1 HOUR before all this shit.. Goddamn fucking assholes. Lame sauce to the extreme. The cop that arrested me felt really bad, apologized like crazy, and tried to talk his Sgt into just letting me go without writing me a $200 ticket for driving while suspended. Bleeeeh.. The booking dude was a tool though.
