So I'm on a new medication starting yesterday... and I had a final this morning... and the med made me suuuuuuper funky feeling last night and when I finally did sleep I slept like a dead person for like HOURS past my alarm...

That happened.
I. am. retarded.
So upset. I've never done anything this ridiculous and stupid in my life. I definitely don't miss exams, much less finals..
I explained the new medication and side effects to my professor, who knows I have a documented disability with the university... I'm sure he would like to let me take the final, but due to policy I'm not sure he'll be able to. He even tried emailing me an hour after the exam started.. Augh. We'll see what happens... I think I end up with a 75% in the class without the final, with the final I had a chance to barely have an A....

That sucks. I don't buy the policy bullshit, though. There is a fairness issue, but in college we are talking about ADULTS and a professor has the academic discretion to know who is responsible and who is full of shit.
