I don't know if I would personally count the audio-books as reading (but that's a-whole-nother discussion), but it's still a very impressive number.
madamlibrarian:
Audiobooks are waaay worse than books. I can read a book a lot faster than listening to it, personally I never listened to audiobooks until the Library Journal offered to give them to me free for review. But I see where you're coming from @johnnydiscard. What goals did you set for yourself this year?

That's the problem with ensemble storytelling in general, for me at least. When it works, it can be amazing. But setting up that many stories takes a lot of time.
madamlibrarian:
The stories surrounding it were definitely more interesting, and @johnnydiscard I totally agree with you. When it's done right, ensemble storytelling can be awesome, I'm sad it didn't come together in this book.

It's finally here! Homecoming weekend! The one weekend out of the year where I get to reconnect with all of my sorority sisters and old college cohorts! My old roommate is coming up from Georgia and I cannot wait to start our usual shenanigans. It's going to be a blast. Forgive me if I'm not on here much this weekend because I will be getting...

Man I powered through this book, it took me no time at all to finish it (2 days)! It wasn't a super challenging read, but at the same time it wasn't a mindless chick romance either, this had substance.

The story all centers around a letter. A letter that has remained hidden, forgotten, and unopened for over a decade. When Cecilia stumbles upon the letter...

@linna No problem, it always feels good to go with a new cut or color. Your new cut happens to be extremely flattering!

It makes me happy that you like my new haircut :)

Well, after years of hearing fabulous things about Suicide Girls I finally coughed up the dough and joined. I don't know what took me so long, I follow the facebook page, I bought tickets for me and my boyfriend to see the burlesque show next month, and even bought him one of the books. Better late than never though!

So I guess my initial entry...
