Hmmmm...Where do I start????...I had a run in with a couple of folks at work today. I love my work. I don't always love the people I work with..is it me????...Possibly, but I don't think so. After said run-in, I was promoted before my due time. I hate this Love-Hate shit...I wish I had the latitude to just quit...BUT, I love my work...and this work is rather thin in my area...and I can't move...unless something opens up you know where...and believe me, I've looked.

I don't know why, but on the way home today, I flashed upon a childhood memory. I was about 13 and I was reading Playboy...really????..Yes.......Just for the pictures.....I took one of those quizzes they used to have so often..20 questions to determine your aptitude for something. It was about being a writer...out of 100 points, I scored 65, even at that tender age. I was dissapointed to see that the cutoff for success was 70 points...had I been a raging alcoholic at 13 I would have been a published writer by now...oh well...It did drive me to read Hemingway...The only other way to sure success for an author in that quiz was to immediately commit suicide...Toungue in Cheek I suppose....Is Edward Albee still alive??...Maybe I should spend the weekend writing my next installment for Dirty/Filthy..Hmmm...
