This morning, my grandfather passed away.
After two strokes, and multiple brain tumors, we knew this was coming. The last couple of years, he hasn't been living so much as simply "existing," but a part of you still wants to believe that a miracle will happen.
He lived in Puerto Rico. I know that this is much harder on my mom than it is me because I've only been around him twice in my life so our emotional connection was not incredibly strong. I mean, I didn't really know the man too much to be quite honest. Even still, I cried and it's upsetting. It's my mom that I'm more worried about
Time waits for no man and the mortality of us human beings is painfully evident.
