Things in Pittsburgh have been doing pretty well weather-wise over the past few days. It has been bright and sunny, the first real streak of non-cloudy days this year. I have to say it has done wonders for my mood. I think I have some form of seasonal affective disorder-I always seem to get depressed in the winter. That period in early February when it was just snowing constantly for a week on end really got to me, partially because I couldn't really get out of my studio apartment for any length of time.
Another benefit is that it has gotten warm enough for me to open my window and let some fresh air into my apartment. The air in here gets stale after a while.
Of course, part of my good mood is probably attributable to the fact that it is spring break. Being able to take some time off for a few days is a great mood enhancer. I'm thinking of spending a good portion of today at the Kiva Han coffee shop just reading and relaxing. Tomorrow, I am going to a free concert being held by WYEP. Good times.
