It's so crazy. I love being back in New Orleans but coffee shops are a hard spot to check out this site without getting caught. Such is life. I'm really just glad my car survived and my brother's house wasn't destroyed. You go to the bars and talk to people who've just lost everything, you drive downt he streets and see the debris, and think "oh fuck." That said, the city is coming back. Some parts will take years to return but the CTB, the Quarter, Magazine St. -all of these are doing alright.
For anyone who's in the city I hope you all got through it ok. I spend my time just drinking coffee and hanging out now, waiting on some good news.
