JOURNAL:
I would first like to thank all of you for the support. It is Sober Day #3, and I am fairing well. But the weekend will be the test....
On the bright side, I got to spend all day monday (when I was not sleeping) with my ex and then he came to visit me on tuesday night - I drove up to park outside of my house on the street to pull up behind his parked truck with him asleep in the driver's seat, waiting for my arrival. What a cutie-patuti-pie! I took him upstairs, snuggled up with him and just zonked! Goodness is a warm body and strong arm to hold you close....
I got a phone call from Prince Charming two nights ago - apparently he is sick! And just for kicks, he has to wait until about now for the call back - ain't I a stinker?
So that is the love life, the girl over here needs to get her ass to the gym, I am finally noticing the clothing might be a little tight this week and I have been eating like a pothead lately (pasta late at night, even had McDonald's dessert for myself - apple pie and cookies!) I have been a very calorie not caring girl lately and it is catching up fast.
SO D-Day is coming - right after Ginger stops flowing (she showed up early, monthly little joy... riding the crimson wave)... so that give me tonight to chill with my uncomfortable self. I might get so pissed that I will go to the gym anyway... but yoga is on the list to begin next week, finals are then as well, and tuesday is my last class! I start summer soon, but the vacation will be short (taking summer) but nice and I will get a chance to do morning yoga on tues and thurs again. I swear by it, yoga is the pound sheader and buldge buster in my world followed in suite by cardio (3-4 miles a visit). Ah, the angel will be tired, but that set I keep promising will occur as soon as I am happy wearing a mid-drift again!
Besides that, I have finished school almost completely, I am curious what my grades will be in my class (since I have missed two tests and a journal assignment but whooped otherwise,... humm....) So we shall see. My teacher likes me and I like him, maybe he will grade on a curve...
Otherwise, I am fresh out of ideas. I just don't like the girl in the mirror around the mid-section, and that leads me to the lesson of the day....
Lesson #17- If you don't like what you see or hear, change it! If you do not like your current situation, change it! We all have the power, we just need to be conscious enough of it to use it.
I have said my piece, and I am sticking to it!
Snow-free living is the goal... wish me luck (chorus: "luck!")
