I was at my local coffee shop early this morning and saw a group of junior high kids drinking black coffee and red bull. What the fuck is up with that? No wonder we have heaps of people on crack if fucking 12 year olds are waking up to drink that shit! Jeesus..they're probably chewing viagra on the walk to school.

I'd think that the tonic would be a vital part of any appreciation I would have for gin. I can't believe that I first tried that stuff over half my life ago. Where the hell is the time going?
Alas, I don't know what station (if any) is showing the Worlds down here in the US. Once you go south of the border, the appreciation for vulcanized pucks and Zambonis drops precipitously. I remember being in Montreal for a Saturday night Habs game and the following coverage in the newspaper on Sunday morning was close to what American papers will do for the local football team's game. I love Canada.

I guess when I have kids all the Star Wars stuff will be done
and then they can figure out how old I am cause of the movies
it will be like "You were alive when Stars Wars number One came out?!?!"

My kids are driving me insane! One is ripping beyblades all over the livingroom. The other one is chucking Yu-Gi-oh! cards all over the floor. The old one is bossing the young one around, the young one is screaming and the fucking 'Incredibles' is blaring on the tv for the 437th fucking time.
I hate rainy days! I hate rainy days! I hate rainy days!!!...

Ahh, the Stones, eh? Well, maybe you can close your eyes and pretend that it's a time when they *weren't* decrepit money-grubbers. But, hey, I'm going to see McCartney in November so who am I to judge?
Glad to hear that Canada won at the Worlds today. And they're negotiating a new CBA back here. I'm not going to hold my breath in anticipation of a new agreement.
