So, I had an MRI done earlier this week. It was fucking cool. When it was done, I got to look at my brains. Good news is that I have lots of brains. Oh yeah....and I'm not going to die. yet.

Living in Canada, I've had a Catscan, MRI and x-rays within the past 2 weeks and didn't have to pay a cent. Do any of you Americans out their know how much that would cost in the US? I'm curious.

Funny thing about the cap: the Penguins seem to have improved dramatically (although Crosby will help with that) whereas the Devils have, at best, treaded water. I'm trying to give Lou Lamoriello the benefit of the doubt, but I get the feeling that the Devils will be an 85- to 90-point team this season.

I'm not sure how close the Habs are to the cap. I wouldn't think that they'd be too constrained---perhaps they'll try to sign LeCavalier?

For someone without insurance, such medical scans would cost thousands, I surmise. That American public insurance is generally limited to Medicare and Medicaid is absurd (even if my employer might protest the advent of national health)...
