I'll tell you how I recall the Moncton Hawks: pro hockey in the 1980s and early 1990s will always likely be cemented in my mind as the good old days. I could probably tell you more about both NHL and AHL teams and players from then than I could now. You should have seen how I once studied the statistics in the Hockey News. Clearly, I was a sick man, but I still enjoy those memories.

I once went to New Brunswick. I swear that it just felt like a Canadian version of Maine with a one-hour time difference. I couldn't BELIEVE how damned small Fredericton is, but Saint John seemed like a decent city.
