My fucking head aches.

I know what the problem is, I didn't drink any gin tonight.

...mmmm....sweet bombay.

I'll try to write someting more interesting tomorrow.
pastura:
well, the digital camera is ka-put until the batteries are recharged. i don't know if i'll get a better picture than the one already on my post, but i can try. and believe you me, i'm only funny from a distance. up close, i'm just frightening.

i'm not sure that New Brunswick is in my foreseeable future, but i would definitely be up for a drink someday. perhaps we'll meet at the Cafe de la Paix in Paris someday... where supposedly if you sit long enough, you're bound to see someone you know. it worked for me back in 1999, but i sort of forced the situation and planned to meet some friends there who were also in the city. (too goddamn expensive for a drink though!)

some people get headaches when they don't get caffeine... others when they miss their g&t's... i have rootbeer withdrawal. says a lot about a personality wink

So, an investigation is underway to determine whether or not American soldiers killed some Iraqi citizens.

Hmmmm....

Didn't Bush send American troops over there to get Sadam because Sadam's troops were killing Iriqi citizens?

So.......who does Bush send over now to stop the Americans from killing Iraqi's?

Ohhh...ohhh..I've got an idea. Send all the troops back to America to find George and put him on...

i don't know why..... she swallowed the fly..... perhaps she'll die (remember that old camp song? sounds like the story above. probably with the same stupid ending.)

i don't have a scanner, so the best i can do is take digital pictures like the one i posted. are you serious about really wanting it? i might be able to find someone with a scanner, but i have to know how badly you want it before i go to the trouble. mmmm, delicious oink
pastura:

you have to wonder whether it's a matter of pride or stupidity now... or what combination of the two. seriously, i know there's no reason for him to be worrying about reelection, but he's fucking every chance his party has, too. (which is fine by me, just wish it weren't at the cost of so much!)

well... i completely forgot what i was going to say after that. hmm.

Yes, and everytime I keep remembering that I forgot!
pastura:
a) well, it's good to have "moments" because they remind us we have a past which has the odd effect of helping us preserve the present.

b) i'm the same way with smells, but it's no surprise. scientists say the olfactory is the most closely related of senses to memory. don't know how or why, but that's that. lately, i've developed a very very bad smell-connection... something that would normally be a very pleasant smell and which a lot of women seem to use in perfumes or powders but which i've connected to a horribly sad memory. so, like, when i'm near someone or something that smells like it in public, it's all i can do to keep myself together.

c) no photoset until i feel like myself again. it wasn't just that i ended up having to take a month or more off from the gym, it was also that i wasn't concerned with what i was eating at the same time. hence, i've set myself way back... and the talk of photoset stuff was still somewhat far off when we were planning it. no number goals, just want to be comfortable in my own skin. how's your progress coming?

It's the second one I get from Ghandy at Epidart. He used to work at KB a long time ago.

And maaaaaaaaaaan do those fiddleheads ever look good!
I forgot to buy some at the grocery store today!! (That's guessing if they had some)
surlymike:
I had fiddleheads for the first time EVER yesterday. Very asparagus-like, no?

I'm not surprised that the Devils fell short this season. Replacing Scott Stevens and Scott Niedermayer with bums like Klee, Lukowich, Malahov, and McGillis (even though the latter two were gone during the season) is not a recipe for success.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Canadian teeam, but maybe not Edmonton. I'm still a little bitter about Klima's game-winner in the 1990 Finals. Fucking Glen Wesley missed the net... mad
